Callie Eldridge

KOUNTZE, Texas -- Callie Jon Eldridge, 55, of Kountze, formerly of Scott City, died Friday, Sept. 24, 2021, at Baptist Beaumont in Beaumont, Texas.

He was born March 19, 1966, in Cape Girardeau to Herbert and Barbara Boucher Eldridge.

He was a graduate of Scott City High School in 1984 and served in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Callie was a supervisor in the construction industry.

He was a Christian and follower of Gateway Church.

Survivors include three sisters, Bambi Chatman, Robin Roberts and Lori Hale; two brothers, Tam and Chris Eldridge; and also many nieces and nephews.

Callie was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Allen Eldridge; a nephew, Gregory Hale; and a brother-in-law, Alva Roberts.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral service will be at noon Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Kevin Ropp officiating. Burial with full military honors will be at Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.

Memorial contributions may be given to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
