JACKSON -- C. Louise Howard, 77, of Jackson, died Wednesday, May 13, 1992, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born June 1, 1914, at Jackson, daughter of Adam and Emma Talbert Hoffman. She married Edward "Bones" Howard April 22, 1937. He died March 1, 1979.
Howard attended Lindenwood College. She had worked at Atlas Plastics in Cape Girardeau, and for the past 12 years had been a volunteer dispatcher with Jackson Police Department.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church. She was a member of Order of Eastern Star Chapter 91 in Jackson, and had served as past worthy matron, district deputy worthy matron, and grand representative of Virginia.
Survivors include a nephew, A.H. Hoffman of St. James, and two great-nieces, Nancy Kimbrell and Carol Cates of Little Rock, Ark.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Chapel. The Rev. William Bernauer will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
