BROWNWOOD -- Clarence "Cotton" Hicks, 83, of Brownwood, died Sunday, June 4, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Jan. 17, 1912, in Elizabethtown, Ill., son of Albert and Mary Carter Hicks. He and Beulah Cook were married in 1935. She died Sept. 24, 1989.
Hicks was a retired farmer.
Survivors include five daughters, Joann Fisher of Cape Girardeau, Sharon Seabaugh of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Linda Johns and Sandy Nenninger of St. Louis, Renee Murphy of Puxico; a sister, Odie Millar of St. Louis; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, and five stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, five brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. James Johns officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park.
