MORLEY -- Burnice Mayfield, 85, of Morley died Sunday, March 19, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Jan. 11, 1915, at Diehlstadt, daughter of James and Nettie Riley Smith. She and Crulus Mayfield were married May 25, 1935, at Morley.
She was a member of Morley Baptist Church. She was formerly of Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Brenda Wood of Jackson, Sondra Phillips of Scott City; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter and two brothers.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Dennis Cebulak officiating. Burial will be at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens near Morley.
