Burdetta Frazier

Burdetta Aline Frazier, 94, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2015, at Chateau Girardeau Health Center. She was born Jan. 20, 1921, in Cape Girardeau, to Archie Leo and Opal Marie Shafer Garner. She and Everett V. Frazier were married Feb. 2, 1938, in Cape Girardeau. He passed away Aug. 19, 2001...

Burdetta Aline Frazier, 94, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2015, at Chateau Girardeau Health Center.

She was born Jan. 20, 1921, in Cape Girardeau, to Archie Leo and Opal Marie Shafer Garner. She and Everett V. Frazier were married Feb. 2, 1938, in Cape Girardeau. He passed away Aug. 19, 2001.

Burdetta moved to St. Louis and worked at General Cable Co., retiring in 1974. She moved back to Cape Girardeau in 1978. She had been residing at Chateau Girardeau since 2001.

Survivors include a daughter, Billie Woley of St. Louis; a brother, Joseph Garner of St. Louis; a sister, Ladonna Sue Dotson of Union, Missouri; two grandsons, Brad Woley of Wichita, Kansas, and Scott Woley of Chesterfield, Missouri; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

There will be no service.

Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
