JACKSON -- Burdetta E. Sievers, 80, of Jackson, died Monday, Nov. 8, 1993, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born May 14, 1913, at Allenville, daughter of Willis and Kadie Kistner Welker. She and Gilbert Sievers were married Aug. 8, 1931, in Jonesboro, Ark. He died Feb. 21, 1985.
Sievers was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid.
Survivors include two sons, John Sievers of Jackson, Keith Sievers of North Olmstead, Ohio; two brothers, W.D. Welker of Delta, Loy Welker of Cape Girardeau; two grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at McCombs Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Robert Henrichs will officiate, with burial in Russell Heights Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. Thursday.
