JACKSON -- Buford O. Bollinger, 79, of Jackson, died Monday, Dec. 2, 1991, at his home. He was born March 11, 1912, near Sedgewickville, son of Amon and Cora Masters Bollinger. He married Mattie Abernathy in 1929, who died June 6, 1970. He then married Lanora Sawyer in May 1971, who died Jan. 27, 1980...

JACKSON -- Buford O. Bollinger, 79, of Jackson, died Monday, Dec. 2, 1991, at his home.

He was born March 11, 1912, near Sedgewickville, son of Amon and Cora Masters Bollinger. He married Mattie Abernathy in 1929, who died June 6, 1970. He then married Lanora Sawyer in May 1971, who died Jan. 27, 1980.

Bollinger worked at International Shoe Co. a number of years, and retired as a carpenter with Crites and Sailer Construction Co.

Survivors include a son, Harold Bollinger of Jackson; two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister.

Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Rodney Travis officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
