PATTON -- Buddy Miller, 65, of Patton died Saturday, July 25, 1998, at his home.
He was born Feb. 3, 1933, at Glen Allen, son of James Arthur and Nora Alice Gromer Miller. He and Shirley Baker were married March 17, 1958, at St. Louis.
Miller, who lived in St. Louis for 30 years, moved to Patton five years ago. He was a member of the Laborer's International Union of North America, Local 42. He was a member of the United Methodist Church near Patton.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Bill Miller of Bernie and Danny and Randy Miller, both of St. Louis; two daughters, Donna Johnson of Bernie and Debbie Puzniak of St. Louis; three brothers, Leo Miller of Cape Girardeau, Hugh Miller of Bethalto, Ill., and Junior Miller of Mira Loma, Calif.; five sisters, Pauline Paul of Whitewater, Edith May Miller of Alton, Ill., Linda Tilley of Jackson, Mary Flores of Chicago and Kay Sontag of Dexter; and 10 grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 4 to 8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. The Rev. Bud Snider will officiate, with burial at Bernie Cemetery in Bernie.
