ANNA, Ill. -- Francis M. "Buddy" Casper Jr., 60, of Anna died Sunday, Sept. 28, 1997, at Union County Hospital.
He was born Feb. 23, 1937, in Goreville, son of Francis M. and Carrie Foster Casper Sr. He and Joyce Tripp were married Aug. 2, 1957.
Casper was owner and operator of Casper Insurance Agency, and was a vocational counselor at Clyde L. Choate Mental Health and Developmental Center.
He attended Landmark Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Deborah Fox of Goreville, Michelle Casper of Carterville; a son, Mark Casper of Anna; two sisters, Gayle Kirby of Anna, Dolores Culp of Freeport; and five grandchildren.
Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Anna after 6 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Charles Carr and Charles Mitchell and Dr. Ron Ferguson officiating. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.
