BUD HULS

MATTHEWS -- Funeral for Lowell "Bud" Huls of Matthews will be held at 2 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston. The Rev. Carl Addison will officiate, with burial in Matthews City Cemetery.

Huls, 79, died Tuesday, Dec. 29, 1998, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

He was born Dec. 3, 1919, at Matthews, son of James T. and Katie Lee Scott Huls. He and Evelyn Stucker were married Nov. 27, 1941, at New Madrid.

Huls was a self-employed plumber and electrician.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Ricky Huls of Sikeston; two daughters, Beverly Wright of Sikeston, Vicky Bailey of Matthews; a brother, John Huls of Jefferson City; a sister, Bethal Griffin of Albuquerque, N.M.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
