BUCK SMITH

DONGOLA, Ill. -- William E. "Buck" Smith, 54, of Dongola died Sunday, Dec. 12, 1999, at Union County Hospital in Anna.

He was born March 19, 1945, in Anna, son of Claude E. and Ellen E. Tellor Smith. He and Mildred Smith were married April 20, 1965.

Smith was employed at Florsheim Shoe Co. and was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Tom Smith of Anna; a daughter, Mary Smith of Anna; his mother of Dongola; two brothers, Gary Smith of Dongola, Claude Smith of Anna; two sisters, Patty Dillow and Ethel King of Dongola; and a grandson.

Friends may call at Hileman and Parr Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Floyd Stout officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery.
