ADVANCE -- Funeral service for Bruce Orin Phillips of Advance will be held at 11 a.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel. The Revs. Randy Masters and Robert Lafferty will officiate, with burial in Oak Ridge Cemetery.

Phillips, 46, died Saturday, Dec. 6, 1997, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Dec. 1, 1951, at Sikeston, son of Orin and Helen McCain Phillips.

Phillips was a farmer and timber worker. He was a member of Eagles Aerie 4154.

Survivors include a son, Chase Phillips of Dexter; two daughters, Cindy Phillips of DeSoto, Carey Phillips of Dexter; two sisters, Judy Kirby of Dexter, Kay White of Advance; and a grandchild.
