CHARLESTON, Mo. -- Bruce Douglas Housman, 58, of Charleston died Monday, Jan. 26, 2004, at his home.
He was born May 24, 1945, in Mississippi County, son of Claude Walter and Marie Hutson Housman. He and Betty Fay Rosson were married Jan. 24, 1964.
Housman was owner and operator of Housman's Fish Market until retiring due to ill health. He had attended Cornerstone Church at Bertrand, Mo.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Tony and Danny Housman of Charleston, Robert Housman of Sikeston, Mo.; a brother, Claude Housman Jr. of Benton, Mo.; four sisters, Kathryn Vinson of Shelby Township, Mich., Norma Holt of Highland, Calif., Delma Holt of Redlands, Calif., Sharon Fernandez of Arlington, Ky.; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, and a brother.
Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Raymond Hannah officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
