Bruce Allen Baker, 54, of Woodland Hills, Calif., died Sunday, Sept. 7, 2008, at his home.
He was born Sept. 21, 1953, in Cape Girardeau, son of Lester Eugene and Virginia Ventres Baker.
Baker lived in Cape Girardeau 16 years, moved to the Springfield/Branson, Mo., area, and then moved to California.
He retired from Bank of America after 25 years of service. He was a branch manager for several years in Beverly Hills, Calif., and then was a branch manager with Orange County Bank in Glendale, Calif.
Survivors include his partner, Leland Green of the home; two brothers, Ken Baker of Ozark, Mo., Kevin Baker of Jackson; four sisters, Kay Baker of Branson, Jill McLemore of Forsyth, Mo., Cindy Prince of Dover, Ark., and Tammy Clem of Stilwell, Kan.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Gates, Kingsley, Gates and Praiswater Mortuary in Canoga Park, Calif., was in charge of arrangements.
