Brittney Dawn Seabaugh, 21, of Jackson died Monday, Nov. 7, 2011, at her home.
She was born Jan. 10, 1990, in Cape Girardeau, to Kenny and Dawn Palisch Seabaugh.
Brittney was a 2008 graduate of Jackson High School. She was a junior at Southeast Missouri State University majoring in animal science and pre-veterinary medicine. She worked with her dad at First Auto Credit in Jackson, and previously worked at Buchheit in Jackson. Brittney was a member of New McKendree United Methodist Church in Jackson and was attending Cape County Cowboy Church in Oak Ridge.
She is survived by her father, Kenny (Cammie) Seabaugh; her mother, Dawn Seabaugh and fiance Mark Hoffman; a sister, Makenzie Seabaugh; Mark's children, Matthew and Michelle Hoffman; paternal grandparents, T. Gale and Katherine Seabaugh; maternal grandmother, Elda Palisch, all of Jackson; several aunts; uncles; cousins; and Patches and Barney, her beloved pets.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Herbert Palisch.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jim Matthews officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Brittney Seabaugh Scholarship Fund.
