Brenda Shumpert

Brenda Sue Shumpert, 59, of Burfordville passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at her home.

She was born Feb. 24, 1954, in Santa Ana, Calif., daughter of Billy James and Verla Dean Eskew Reel. She married Keith Shumpert on July 27, 2006.

Brenda worked at Rubbermaid in Jackson.

Survivors include her husband; two stepsons, Justin Shumpert of Anna, Ill., Nathan Shumpert of Jackson; a sister, Cheryl Sims of Jackson; two brothers, Billy Reel of San Marino, Calif., and Larry Reel of Pueblo, Colo.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill, Mo.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Jim Eskew officiating. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery near Scopus.
