MURPHYSBORO, Ill. -- Brenda Kay Roth Yearack, 51 of Murphysboro died Monday, Nov. 7, 2016, at St. Joseph Memorial Hospital in Murphysboro.
She was born Jan. 23, 1965, in Cape Girardeau to Richard W. and Doris G. Kenkel Roth. She married Sean Yearack, the love of her life for 25 years, on Nov. 28, 2015.
Brenda was an accountant at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale for 25 years. She was a member of Eisleben Lutheran Church in Scott City, Lunch Bunch, Relay for Life and the OI Foundation.
She is survived by her husband, Sean; her parents, Richard and Doris Roth of Scott City; three sisters, her twin, Linda (Donnie) Phillips, Karen Medlin and Sharon (Butch) Lee of Scott City; nieces and nephews, Ashley (Michael) Zeigler, Shawn (Mallory) Lee, Chelsea (Brandon DeProw) Phillips, Travis Phillips and Erika Medlin; and a great niece, Avery Zeigler.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City and from 9 a.m. until the time of service Thursday at Eisleben Lutheran Church.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with pastor Marty Hasz officiating.
