Brenda McBride

Brenda McBride, 45, of Jackson passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2008, at Life Care Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born June 9, 1963, in Cape Girardeau, to William T. and Mary C. Horrell Kluesner. She and Ron McBride were married March 10, 1989, in Cape Girardeau.

Brenda was a 1981 graduate of Jackson High School. She worked at the former Bob's Bakery in Jackson during her high school years. Prior to her illness she worked at Concrete Castings in Fruitland.

She was a loving grandmother and a friend of animals.

Loving survivors include her husband of 19 years, Ron of Jackson; a son, Bobby "B.J." Langston and fiancee Amy Floyd of Oak Ridge; two daughters, Melissa Langston of Cape Girardeau, Heather McBride of Jackson; three brothers, Tim (Renee) Kluesner, Keith (Bev) Kluesner, Randy (Pam) Kluesner, all of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Debbie (Robert) Reiminger of Cape Girardeau, Cindy (Vince) Rigdon of Jackson; and two grandchildren, Elizabeth Taylor and Alivea Stuart.

Also surviving is her mother-in-law, Pat McBride of Cape Girardeau; a brother-in-law, Steve (Jennifer) McBride of Cape Girardeau; and two sisters-in-law, Lisa (Kim) Wichern of Cape Girardeau and Barb Polen of Perryville, Mo.

She was preceded in death by her parents and father-in-law.

Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at La Croix United Methodist Church in Cape Girardeau.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with the Rev. Rob Mehner officiating.
