EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. -- Brenda Joyce Marshall, 60, of East Prairie died Thursday, Jan. 2, 2003, at Beverly Health Care in New Madrid, Mo.

She was born June 29, 1942, in East Prairie, the daughter of John Edward and Gladys Amanda Monroe Bonta. She married Herbert Lee Marshall on April 22, 1968. He survives.

She also is survived by a son, Herbert Lee Marshall II of East Prairie; a daughter, Stephanie Matheney of East Prairie; a brother, Bruce Bonta of East Prairie; two sisters, Evola Lynn and Mildred Ziegenhorn, both of Sikeston; and a granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and two sisters.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.

Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Shelby Chapel with Bro. Larry Smith officiating.

Burial will be at the Odd Fellows Cemetery near Charleston, Mo.
