MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Brandy Marie Vandeven, 26, of Marble Hill died Thursday, June 6, 2002, at her home, following a lengthy illness.
She was born June 2, 1976, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Anthony and Judy Ridings Carroll. She and Randal Vandeven were married Oct. 17, 1998.
Brandy was a secretary at Muffler Express in Cape Girardeau. She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Chaffee, Mo., and its Daughters of St. Ambrose.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Rylie Jo Vandeven of the home; her parents of Chaffee; a sister, Twila Hauzer of Chaffee; paternal grandmother, Stella Carroll of Chaffee; maternal grandparents, Von and Mary Frances Ridings of Cape Girardeau and Reva Faulkner of Patterson, Mo.; three nieces, Tesslia Jones, Autumn and Amber Vandeven, all of Chaffee.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Albert Carroll, and a sister-in-law, Bethani Vandeven.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Sunday, June 9, 2002, at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Chaffee. Parish prayers will be at 7.
Funeral service will be conducted at St. Ambrose Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Monday, June 10, 2002, with the Rev. Ralph Duffner officiating. Burial will be in St. Ambrose Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Carroll, Rick Vandeven, Jaeson Fraser, Tom Taylor, Dale Nordin and Danny White.
Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee is in charge of arrangements.
