ADVANCE, Mo. -- Brandon Thompson, 25, of Advance died Sunday, May 9, 2004, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

He was born Feb. 12, 1979, at Dexter, Mo., son of Charles "Sonny" and Mary Beatrice McMillion Thompson. He and Sarah Rodgers were married March 22, 2003, at Advance.

Brandon was a 1998 graduate of Advance High School. He was leadman rotomold operator five years at Miracle Recreation Co. in Advance. He was a member of Bethel General Baptist Church near Advance.

Survivors include his wife; his mother of Advance; a brother, Clay Thompson of Puxico, Mo.; two sisters, Julie Vandermierden of Glennon, Mo., Rena Taylor of Puxico; paternal grandmother, Lillian Thompson of Advance; two nephews, Clint Thompson and Scott Taylor of Puxico; and a niece, Erin Thompson of Puxico.

He was preceded in death by his father; a sister, Lesa Blankenship; maternal grandparents, Reble and Mary McMillion; and paternal grandfather, Homer Thompson.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home from 4:30 to 8 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ray Placher officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Josh McClelland, Rob McClelland, Tommy Tucker, James Hornbuckel, Jason Thompson, Waylon Thompson, Nick Seabaugh, Don Beel and Guy Borneman.
