MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Boyce Ray Cheatham, 61, of Marble Hill died Tuesday, April 19, 2005, at his home. He was born May 21, 1943, at Manila, Ark., son of Willie W. and Vera Edna Sanders Cheatham. MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Boyce Ray Cheatham, 61, of Marble Hill died Tuesday, April 19, 2005, at his home.

He was born May 21, 1943, at Manila, Ark., son of Willie W. and Vera Edna Sanders Cheatham. He and Betty Barks were married Dec. 8, 1986.

He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church at Leopold, Mo., and a retired truck driver for Redman Trucking of Advance, Mo.

Survivors include his wife; his mother of Essex, Mo.; two stepdaughters, Julie Long of Marble Hill, Amy James of Zalma, Mo.; a brother, Ronnie Cheatham of Sikeston, Mo.; two half brothers, Calvin Arnold of Sikeston, Tommy Cheatham of Lindale, Texas; two sisters, Theresha Harris of Bloomfield, Mo., Shirley McIntire of Sikeston; five half sisters, Betty Jones of St. Louis, Anna Bell Simpson of Manila, Virginia Wright of Decatur, Ala., Betty Grubbs of Essex, Jean Burkett of Lindale; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bill Huggins officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Church Cemetery.
