ADVANCE, Mo. -- Bonnie Bloyce Roper, 79, of Advance died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2005, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Aug. 4, 1925, son of Sylvia and Edna Pritchit Roper. He and Sue Howard were married July 1, 1943, at Bloomfield, Mo.

Roper was a retired carpenter and farmer.

Survivors include his wife; four sons, Ronnie Roper of Dexter, Mo., Larry and Eddie Roper of Advance, Rick Roper of Bloomfield; two daughters, Barbara Phillips and Patricia Stoker of Advance; a brother, Bo Roper of Bloomfield; 16 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Jason Myers and Kenny Brietweg officiating. Burial will be in Rock Point Cemetery near Advance.
