Bonnie Louise Miller, 88, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Jan. 9, 2023, at Saint Francis Medical Center.

She was born June 26, 1934, in Cape Girardeau to Charles and Hazel Day Wulfers. She and Robert "Bob" Miller were married Aug. 21, 1954, in Cape Girardeau. He preceded her in death March 21, 1977.

She was a graduate of St. Mary's High School.

Bonnie was the owner and operator of Day Transfer Moving and Storage Co., and was a member of Missouri Movers Association.

She was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral.

Bonnie volunteered at Saint Francis Medical Center and Cape Girardeau Senior Center, and sewed Ugly Quilts at St. Vincent de Paul Church. She enjoyed playing bridge, bowling and golfing. She liked the St. Louis Cardinals, and was a big Notre Dame Regional High School Booster.

Survivors include two daughters, Carol (Mike) Crawford of Gordonville and Christy Miller of Cape Girardeau; son-in-law, Steve Nebel of Cape Girardeau; four grandchildren, Trenton (Sarah) Crawford of Cape Girardeau, Casey (Alex) Duncan of New Hamburg, Missouri, Abby Withers of St. Louis and Katy (Blake) Wadlington of Oran, Missouri; brother, Tom (Joyce) Wulfers of Houston; and four great-grandchildren, Tinley and Taylen Crawford and Jase and Jaxon Duncan.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Connie Marie Nebel; one brother; and one sister.

There will be no visitation.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, at St. Mary's Cathedral in Cape Girardeau, with the Rev. Daniel Belken officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Notre Dame Booster Club.

Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
