THEBES, Ill. -- Graveside service for Bonnie Jean Lindgren of Brownsburg, Ind., formerly of Thebes, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Rose Hill Cemetery in Thebes. The Rev. Carl Fisher will officiate.
Crain Funeral Home of Tamms, Ill., is in charge of arrangements.
Lindgren, 58, died Friday, Jan. 25, 2002, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Indianapolis, Ind.
She was born April 5, 1943, in East St. Louis, Ill., daughter of Clarence and Viola Norris Chandler. She married Charles A. Lindgren Sr.
Lindgren worked at Central Hardware 20 years, retiring in 1984 as personnel manager. She had also worked for Internal Revenue Service, Sears Roebuck and Co., Meijer and the Village Pantry. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Brownsburg, American Legion Auxiliary to Post 331, and Vasa Order of American SVEA Lodge 253.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Garrett Lindgren of Brownsburg; two stepsons, Charles Lindgren II and Craig Lindgren; three stepdaughters, Joyce and Joy Lindgren, Nancy Dyer; two brothers, Robert Chandler of Monroe, La., Donald Chandler of St. Louis; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
