Bonita Clara Robertson, 91, of Cape Girardeau, formerly of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, died Saturday, March 16, 2019, at Life Care Center.
She was born April 10, 1927, in Harviell, Missouri, to the late Frank Naylor and Mitti Ceanna Armstrong Hudson. Bonita married Cecil C. Robertson in May 1950 in Poplar Bluff. He preceded her in death Sept. 16, 1994. She was a longtime resident of Poplar Bluff. She was a member of Lord's Chapel Church.
She enjoyed the outdoors.
Bonita is survived by two sons, Edward Robertson of Cape Girardeau and Joe Robertson of Ellsinore, Missouri; grandson, Joseph Jody Henson; and three great-grandchildren, Layla Henson and Holden and Hollis Henson, all of Lake City, Arkansas.
Besides her parents and husband, Bonita was preceded in death by a son, Carl Albert Robertson.
Visitation will be at 11 a.m. today at Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff.
Funeral will follow at noon today at the funeral home, with the Rev. Rowdy Boyers officiating. Burial will be at Black Creek Cemetery.
