Bobby Smith

Bobby Joe Smith, 54, of Cape Girardeau passed away Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012, at Southeast Hospital.

He was born Dec. 27, 1957, in Cape Girardeau, son of Wilburn E. and Rose Marie Keller Smith.

Bobby Joe worked for the former Internal Medicine Group and Immediate Health Care in Cape Girardeau, and was co-owner of the former River City Health Clinic in Cape Girardeau from 1998 to 2002.

Loving survivors include three brothers, Leo Smith of the state of Mississippi, Donny "Larry" Smith of Frohna, Mo., Gary Smith of Jackson; two sisters, Brenda McClain of Oran, Mo., Patsy Smith of Cape Girardeau; and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Zettie Smith.

A private graveside service was held Tuesday at Old Salem Cemetery near Millersville.

McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson was in charge of arrangements.
