BOBBY POTTS

BERNIE -- Bobby E. Potts, 63, of South Elgin, Ill., died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2000, at his home.

He was born Jan. 17, 1937, in Baldwin, Miss., son of Ezra and Ester Hamm Potts. He and June D. Andersen were married April 2, 1977, in Elgin, Ill.

Formerly of the Bernie area, he had lived in South Elgin 16 years. He was owner of Bobby Potts Auto Body Shop in South Elgin until retiring.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Nathan and Allan Potts of Malden; two daughters, Sharon Foust and Sara Joyce of Malden; his mother, Ester Ambrose of St. Charles, Ill.; a brother, J.D. Potts of Elburn, Ill.; three sisters, Doris Balleu of Port Neches, Texas, Flora Stone and Gloria Hughey of St. Charles, Ill.; and 10 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Friends may call at Rainey Funeral Home in Bernie from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bernie Cemetery.
