Bobby McGee

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Bobby L. "Fibber" McGee, 70, of Perryville died Thursday, June 22, 2006, at Perry Oaks Manor.

He was born April 30, 1936, in Clay, Kan., son of William and Velda Dallen McGee. He and Connie M. Lint were married May 9, 1991, at Perryville.

McGee was a truck driver for Gilster-Mary Lee, and a member of River Hills Eagles Aerie.

He served in the U.S. Navy.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Sandy Jenkins of Perryville; two sons, Danny McGee of Perryville, Tony McGee of Arnold, Mo.; two stepchildren, Brenda Moran of Ste. Genevieve, Mo., Justin Lint of St. Mary, Mo.; a sister, Dwett Hutchinson of Steamboat Springs, Colo.; seven grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons and three brothers.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, and Tuesday from 6:30 a.m. to time of service.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gerold McBride officiating. Burial will be private.
