DEXTER -- Bobby Hill, 45, of Dexter, died Monday, Jan. 29, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born July 29, 1950, in Poplar Bluff, son of James Alfred and Maxine Eldridge Hill. He and Marilyn Sisk were married June 26, 1980, in Memphis, Tenn.

Hill moved to Dexter in 1988 from Arkansas. He was a farm laborer until retiring because of ill health.

Survivors include his wife of Parkin, Ark.; seven sons, James Hill of Memphis, John, Michael and Steven Hill of Dexter, Boyce Hill of Vanndale, Ark., Bobby Hill of Poplar Bluff, Jason Hill of Parkin; three daughters, Rebecca Hill of Dexter, Sheri Hill of Vanndale, Jessica Hill of Parkin; two brothers, James Hill of Oklahoma, John Hill of Dexter; seven sisters, Anna Burleson of Dexter, Dora Burleson of Havana, Ark., Bessie Cooper of Hot Springs, Ark., Glenda Starnes of Essex, Wilma Fite of Paden, Okla., Rosemary Burleson of Tyler, Texas, Betty Vaughn of Puxico, and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-9 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dale Shearon officiating. Burial will be in Hagy Cemetery.
