DELTA -- Bobby E. Barlow, 57, of Delta, died Saturday, July 11, 1992 at the family home.
He was born in Bell City on June 7, 1935, the son of James and Betty Mathney Barlow.
He married Peggy McClain on Oct. 18, 1954. She survives of the home.
He was a staff sergeant in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years, retiring in 1973. He owned and operated Barlow's Self Service & Food Stop in Delta for the past five years.
Other survivors are, One son, Clifford Barlow of Advance; five daughters, Vivian Barlow, Cape Girardeau, Karen Backfisch, New Hamburg, Lisa Curtis, Chaffee, Teresa Barlow, Cape Girardeau and Lorie Barlow, Delta; one brother, Cletus Barlow, Dupo, Ill.; three sisters, Euna Faye Schoelhammer, Margaret Kinder and Maureen Sadler, all of Chaffee; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters and one half-sister.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.
Funeral service will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Dennis Breland officiating. Burial will follow in Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
