Bobby "Dirt Dobber" Diamond, 53, a lifelong resident of Cape Girardeau, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, at Southeast Hospital.
He was born Feb. 1, 1959, in Cape Girardeau, to Robert and Violet Morlan Diamond.
Bobby was part of the CB radio community since 1976, was an avid video game player and loved listening to music.
He is survived by his parents of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Don and Roy Diamond of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Debbie (Wesley) Masterson of Cape Girardeau; four nieces and a nephew, Angela Diamond, Terri Diamond, Roy Diamond Jr., Amanda Diamond and Mandy Masterson-Evans; several great- nieces and nephews; and a great-great niece and nephew.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Roger and Allen Diamond.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to time of service Saturday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at noon Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
