Bobby Bruce

Bobby Paul Bruce, 67, of Scott City died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2008, at Life Care Center in Cape Gir-ardeau.

He was born April 22, 1940, in Dunklin County, Mo., son of Joseph Wheeler and Mattie Lou Brake Bruce.

Bruce worked in the janitor and shipping departments at Blair Industries.

Survivors include a brother, Perry Bruce of Scott City; and two sisters, Jessie Vanderbol of Campbell, Mo., and Hilda Hoskins of Scott City.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to service time Friday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Randy Morse officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery.
