Bobby Martin Banks, 63, of Catoasa, Okla., and formerly of East Prairie, Mo., died Tuesday, May 6, 2003, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born June 19, 1939, in New Madrid County, son of Shirley Martin and Mildred Rosalie Blyzes Banks.
He had lived in Catoasa for several years and was a boilermaker.
Survivors include two sons, Steven M. Banks of Tulsa, Okla., and David V. Banks of Phoenix, Ariz.; three daughters, Terry L. Robbins and Tracy A. Brown of Phoenix and Robin L. Siracuse of Virginia Beach, Va.; two brothers, Melvin Banks of St. Louis and Arthur Banks of St. Clair, Mo.; three sisters, Anna Hatton of Sikeston, Mo., Judy Humphreys of Pell City, Ala., and Evelyn Mills of Cape Girardeau; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by one brother.
Visitation will be after 5 p.m. today at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel with David Dowdy officiating. Burial will follow in the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
