Bobbietta Cortez

Bobbietta Jean Cortez, 50, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2005, at Saint Francis Medical Center.

She was born Sept. 27, 1954, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Ivan and Nelda Stone Bragg.

Cortez was store manager at Fill-Up Mart, and prior to that worked at Thorngate Ltd.

Survivors include two daughters, Tammy McLain and Tracy Headrick; a sister, Marilyn Mayfield; three brothers, Bo, Mike and Ivan Bragg, all of Cape Girardeau; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son and her parents.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Robert Smithey Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
