Bobbie Lefler Henderson, 83, of Bentonville, Arkansas, formerly of Scott City, passed away Monday, Sept. 22, 2014, at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville.
She was born Jan. 21, 1931, in Egypt, Arkansas, to Oscar and Daisy Haynes Lefler. She married Howard Henderson on Oct. 19, 1951, in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He preceded her in death March 20, 1988.
Bobbie was a manager at the Doctors' Park snack bar. She was a member of the Church of Christ of Jackson. She was an active member of the Scott City community, Girl Scouts, PTO, school board and park board.
Survivors include five daughters, Debbie Henderson of Hollister, Missouri, Judy Henderson of Sikeston, Missouri, Beth (Tony) Colbert of Bentonville, Debbie Rickman of Sikeston and Sherry Grice of Marion, Arkansas; and two sons, Keith Hall of Imperial, Missouri, and Curtis (Vickie) Hall of Scott City.
Also three brothers, Bill (Ann) Lefler of Conway, Arkansas, Bud Lefler of Morrillton, Arkansas, Joe (Cora) Lefler of Sugarland, Texas; two sisters, Patsy (William) Hooten of Bono, Arkansas, Stella (JR) Hodges of Little Rock, Arkansas; eight grandchildren, Curtis (Emily) Hall, Clayton, Macy and Marisa Hall, all of Scott City, Justin, Cassidy, Ben and Brenley Colbert, all of Bentonville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Aileen Lefler and Daisy and Ira Hall; a brother, Ira Hall; and a sister, Nora Hall Dance.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Mike Lefler officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Memorial Cemetery in Scott City.
