BOB MUNGLE

PATTON, Mo. -- Bob G. Mungle, 65, of Patton died Sunday, April 29, 2001, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Dec. 10, 1935, at Patton, son of Rufus "Butch" and Metta Yamnitz Mungle. He and Patricia A. Fadler were married Sept. 15, 1959.

Mungle retired as a truck driver with Gilster-Mary Lee in Perryville, Mo. He was a member of Patton United Methodist Church.

He served in the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Jim Mungle; two brothers, Leroy Mungle of Patton, and Arnold Mungle of St. Louis.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a son.

Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Patton from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Fred Rister officiating. Burial will be in Patton Cemetery.
