Robert Charles "Bob" King, 75, of Jackson passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at the Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Jan. 20, 1947, in St. Louis, the son of Howard V. and Katherine R. Headrick King. He married Terry Lee Minner on May 11, 1967.

Bob was a 1965 graduate of Jackson High School. He served four years in the Missouri National Guard. He worked 42 years at Kasten Masonry in Jackson, retiring in 2011. He enjoyed attending Jackson Indian sporting events, especially football games. He was a member of Covenant Life Church in Fruitland and a member of the Teamsters.

Loving survivors include his wife of 54 years, Terry King of Jackson; two daughters, Kelly King, and her life partner, Lee Barnhill of St. Louis, and Toni Newsom, and her fiance, Terry Span of Jackson; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two siblings, Howard "Gene" King of St. Louis and Beth (Roger) Tucker of Perryville, Missouri.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Mark Schario officiating. Interment will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery.
