BLOOMFIELD -- Funeral service for Blanche Lorene Robinett of Bloomfield will be held at 1 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Chapel in Dexter. The Rev. Edsel Pruett will officiate, with burial in Hagy Cemetery at Dexter.
Robinett, 78, died Monday, Feb. 10, 1997, at Dexter Memorial Hospital in Dexter.
She was born Jan. 3, 1919, in Sikeston, daughter of Joseph William and Frances Pearl Jones Matlock. She and Charley Sylvester Robinett were married Dec. 23, 1939, at Sikeston.
Robinett had been a resident of rural Bloomfield 48 years. She was a member of Link Church and Old Cape Road Runners Extension Club.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Phyllis Vandeven of Bloomfield, Rita Scherer of Bell City; three sons, Charles and Denny Robinett of Bloomfield, Bill Robinett of Advance; 17 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, a sister, and a great-grandson.
