BLANCHE E. MACKE

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Funeral service for Mrs. Blanche E. Macke, 1021 Themis, will be held at 2:30 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. The Rev. S.S. Borum will officiate, with private burial in Lorimier Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 8 a.m. until the service.

Mrs. Macke, 86 years old, died Tuesday, April 2, 1991, at Cape Girardeau Nursing Center.

She was born Dec. 22, 1904, at Campbell, daughter of James and Dora Anderson Irwin. She married Fred J. Macke Jan. 21, 1931, at Dexter. He died May 24, 1986.

Mrs. Macke moved here from Clarkton 60 years ago, and was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Carl Macke of Nashville, Tenn.; a daughter, Marilyn Aiple of Cape; four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
