TAMMS, Ill. -- Blanche Mable Clymore, 103, of Tamms, died Sunday, May 26, 1996, at Hillview Health Care Center in Vienna.
She was born Aug. 13, 1892, in Monticello, daughter of Thomas and Francis Drake Pettit. She married Joseph Beverly "J.B." Clymore, who died July 23, 1957.
Clymore was the oldest living member of the United Methodist Church in Tamms, and taught Sunday School many years.
Survivors include a foster daughter, Sharon King of Winfield, Kan.; six grandchildren, including Earl Price of Tamms with whom she made her home several years, and four great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Jones Funeral Home in Tamms from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gene Hart officiating. Burial will be in Bereau Cemetery near Vienna.
