WARE, Ill. -- Blanch M. Johnson, 83, of Ware died Sunday, Sept. 13, 1992, at her home.
She was born Aug. 14, 1909, in Jonesboro, the daughter of Frederick and Lily Belcher Wildy. In 1932, she married Thomas Johnson, who preceded her in death May 23, 1942.
She was a restaurant cook and a member of the Ware Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Billy J. Johnson and Harry Johnson, both of Anna; a daughter, Neda Jackson of Ware; a brother, Roy Wildy of Ware; a sister, Velma Sadler of Buncomb; 12 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5-9 p.m. today at the Norris and Son Funeral Home in Jonesboro, where funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery.
