BLAKELY JOHNSON

MORLEY, Mo. -- Blakely Johnson, 78, of Morley, Mo., died Sunday, Jan. 23, 1994, at the Miner Nursing Center.

He was born March 26, 1915, at Hagarville, Ark., son of Teaman and Viola Pearson Johnson.

He married Mildred Bramlett in November 1946. She died March 28, 1976.

Johnson was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Marine Corps.

He was a retired maintenance worker for the Missouri State Highway Department.

Survivors include a son, Michael Johnson of Jackson; two daughters, Nancy Lovel and Betty Sansing, both of Morley; six grandchildren and a great-grandson.

He was preceded in death by a son, two brothers and a sister.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.

Burial will follow in the New Morley Cemetery.
