Bobby Jean "B.J." Langston, 33, of Jackson passed away Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2019, after an automobile accident northwest of Jackson.
He was born Jan. 5, 1986, in Clarksville, Tennessee, son of Thomas and Brenda Kluesner Langston. He and Amy Floyd were married Aug. 2, 2008, in Jackson.
B.J. was a member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ in Jackson. He worked at Luhr Brothers for six years and previously at Midamerica Hotels for 10 years as a painter. B.J. was a member of Harold O. Grauel Masonic Lodge in Cape Girardeau. He had a passion and love of the outdoors. B.J. enjoyed hunting and fishing. He will be missed by his wife, daughter, family and friends.
Loving survivors include his wife of 11 years; daughter, Faye Langston; sisters, Heather McBride of Gordonville and her son, Lucas Fann, and Melissa Langston of Navarre, Florida, and her three daughters, Elizabeth Taylor, Alivia Stewart and Abigail Stewart; father- and mother-in-law, Craig and Barbara Floyd of Oak Ridge; sister- and brother-in-law, Katie and Nick Biri of Jackson and their children, Matthew and Emma Biri; and paternal grandmothers, Nancy Langston of Dover, Tennessee, and Patricia McBride of St. Louis.
He was preceded in death by his mother and his stepfather, Ron McBride.
Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Sam Roethemeyer officiating. Interment will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
