EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. -- Graveside service for Birtha Miller of Waterproof, La., will be held at 11 a.m. today at Dogwood Cemetery. Larry Smith will officiate.
Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie is in charge of arrangements.
Miller, 90, died Sunday, Nov. 5, 2000, at her home.
She was born Feb. 12, 1910, in Hickman County, Ky., daughter of James and Jannie Tinsley Johnson. She and Jimmie Miller were married in February 1930. She was formerly of Mississippi County.
Survivors include her husband; four sons, Raymond and M.L. Miller of Waterproof, George and Sam Miller of East Prairie; three daughters, Betty Wilson and Mary Carpenter of Jackson, Miss., Patty VanDeven of St. Joseph, La.; a sister, Violet Wallace of Anniston, Mo.; 19 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons.
