SIKESTON -- Billy Ross, 32, of Sikeston died Friday, July 23, 1993 at his residence following an extended illness.
He was born Sept. 20, 1960 in Dexter, son of Wilson G. and Lois Latham Ross, who survive of Sikeston.
He graduated from Sikeston Senior High School in 1979. Ross served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Disabled American Veteran's-Sikeston Chapter. He was a machine operator for Tetra Pac Materials.
On Nov. 12, 1992 in Benton, he married Becky Wilson, who survives.
He is also survived by two stepsons, Kenny and Daniel Wilson, and two stepdaughters, Kathy and Lisa Wilson, all of the home; one brother, Wilson "Bub" Ross, Sikeston; one foster sister, Valerie Taylor Causey, Sikeston, and maternal grandmother, Pearl Latham of Sikeston.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Billie Butler, pastor of the United Pentecostal Church, officiating. He will be assisted by Dr. Dale Merritt of the Miner Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Essex Cemetery.
