Billy Wayne Pittman, 63, of Jackson died Friday, Sept. 24, 2004, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born March 20, 1941, in Cape Girardeau, son of Metford and Dorothy Bond Pittman. He and Beccie Sue McKeown were married May 31, 1964, at Spartanburg, S.C.
Pittman was an industrial production worker and attended First Assembly of God in Jackson. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1959 to 1963.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, James Pittman and Christopher Pittman, both of Jackson; a daughter, Rebecca Webb of Jackson; three brothers, Dr. Ralph Pittman of Murray, Ky., the Rev. Bruce Pittman and Michael Pittman, both of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; and four grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Dean Heady Jr. and Michael Huffman officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park, with military rites by the Missouri Honor Guard.
