SPRINGFIELD, Ill. -- Billy Moore, 55, of Springfield died Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2001, at his home.

He was born April 18, 1945, in Hickman, Ky., son of Harold B. Moore and Dula Mae Ray Moore.

He was an accountant with the Illinois Department of Transportation and a U.S. Army veteran.

Survivors include four brothers, Bobby Moore of Scott City, Mo., David Moore of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Harold and John Moore of Cape Girardeau; and one sister, Barbara Dempsey of Greenfield, Tenn.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services are private and being handled by Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
