Billy J. Luttrell, 78, of Millersville passed away Monday, Aug. 19, 2013, at his home.

He was born Sept. 19, 1934, in Jackson, Miss., son of John and Edith Duty Luttrell. He and Patsy Criddle were married Dec. 25, 1954. She passed away April 30, 2008.

Billy was a member of Scopus United Methodist Church 17 years, and a member of Fairview United Methodist Church in Millersville. He was owner and operator of Luttrell Upholstery, farmed and raised cattle more than 40 years.

Loving survivors include his fiancee, Genece Felty of Millersville; a brother, Bob (Janet) Luttrell of Cape Girardeau; four sisters, Shirley Phillips of Sparta, Ill., Georgie Pollack of Anna, Ill., Vickie (Gene) Holston of Dexter, Mo., and Barbara Harris of Jackson; 31 nieces and nephews; and many great- nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by four brothers Jim and Jerry Luttrell, and infant twin brothers; a niece, Deborah Reed; a nephew, Johnny Luttrell; two brothers-in-law, Garrett Phillips and Charles Pollack.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Vernon Long officiating. Interment will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fairview United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund.
