Billy Howard, 60, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Feb. 26, 1996, at his home. He was born March 10, 1935, at Cape Girardeau, son of W.L. and Ethel Burns Howard. He and Elizabeth Hoffman were married Dec. 25, 1977, at Las Vegas. Howard was employed as a surveyor for the Hutchinson Homes Co. in Colorado. He was an Air Force veteran during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the St. Mark's Lutheran Church...

Billy Howard, 60, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Feb. 26, 1996, at his home.

He was born March 10, 1935, at Cape Girardeau, son of W.L. and Ethel Burns Howard. He and Elizabeth Hoffman were married Dec. 25, 1977, at Las Vegas.

Howard was employed as a surveyor for the Hutchinson Homes Co. in Colorado. He was an Air Force veteran during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the St. Mark's Lutheran Church.

Survivors are his mother, Ethel May of Cape Girardeau; his wife; a son, Darren S. Howard of Jonesboro, Ga.; a stepson, Douglas Feller of Denver; a daughter, Mary Ann Stovall of Conyers, Ga.; four stepdaughters, Susan Kamees of Cheyenne, Wyo., and Debra Lewis and Dawn Daniels, both of Denver, and Keri Moore of Jackson; two brothers, Don and Charles Howard, both of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Marilyn May of Cape Girardeau; 11 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by three sisters, a brother and a son.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. at the funeral chapel. The Rev. Neal O. Zeilinger will officiate, with burial in Lorimier Cemetery.
